YARA + AARON│A Bohemian Wedding at Bird Haven Greenhouse │Joliet, IL

Any day is the perfect day for a wedding, as long as there is love in the air there is nothing that can make a wedding not be great. We started this wonderful day with our bride getting all dolled up in her own home.

Yara had her grandmother's ring as it was a family heirloom passed down to her while Aaron had his grandfather's ring. It was a beautiful detail for them to have them and we loved how it showed what style was used generations ago

We got many beautiful shots of our bride and groom as they got ready. Yara and Aaron decided to do their ceremony and venue all in one which made for an easy maneuver around there.

While we love bright and sunny skies for our weddings, there are times where the weather does impose a challenge. Yara and Aaron's wedding gave us smiles while simultaneously giving us a challenge. With fog rolling in we knew we would have to work quickly and with a lot of patience. As we arrived at the venue and ceremony location it started to rain. Which we have heard is a sign of good luck! We were, however, very relieved to find out Bird Haven has an indoor ceremony.

Here's where our second challenge presented itself. Humidity, being that it was a greenhouse and it was raining outside we were feeling a bit concerned. Luckily with moving around shot after shot we were able to capture even the tiniest of details.

As the ceremony progressed we couldn't help but notice the flower halos the bridesmaids were holding, and how Yara and Aaron opted for a natural flower garland. It was the first time for us and we fell in love with how something so natural made that moment beautiful. After the ceremony, we were able to take some amazing shots of the bridal court, and even more beautiful shots of our bride and groom. Yara and Aaron made it so easy to capture their happiness.

The reception was such a fun yet special event. Aaron had reserved a table with a sign and candle for his father, who unfortunately had passed last year. We were asked to take a few shots and we couldn't help but get emotional during that moment.

The rest of the night was such enchantment and we could not have been any more excited about being part of their special day. Many Thanks to Yara and Aaron for letting us be there for them and a huge CONGRATULATIONS!
