We’ve had the joy of watching little Eiza grow over the past year, and this session was extra special for us. From capturing her parents’ maternity session to her newborn photos at home, and now celebrating her first birthday with a Wild ONE-themed cake smash—this family holds a special place in our hearts.

This fun session took place in our home studio, which we decorated with a mix of pink, green, and gold balloons, with a few cheetah print ones to add a wild touch. Twinkle lights gave the setup a warm, magical glow (a must-have for our cake smashes!), and we added lots of greenery and cute animal cutouts—lion, zebra, hippo, elephant, monkey, and tiger—to bring the Wild ONE theme to life.

Eiza looked adorable in two outfits: a green floral dress and a pink tulle dress that added just the right amount of birthday flair. She even brought along her little giraffe toy named Sofia, and we couldn’t resist including Sofia in a few of the shots. They turned out so sweet!

Eiza was such a little star in front of the camera. She was aware of everything around her but gave us some great laughs and expressions throughout the session. Her cake was a lovely mix of pink and green, with pink being the main color. We added greenery accents and topped it with a wooden “WILD ONE” cake topper that tied the whole theme together perfectly.

It means the world to us when families return year after year to document these beautiful milestones. Eiza’s first year went by so fast, and we’re honored to have been a part of it from the very beginning.

Happy first birthday, Eiza! You are truly a Wild One.
