Ana and Malcom met a few years back in High School, they started dating and have now build a beautiful relationship the portraits love and happiness. On Malcom's birthday party, surrounded by friends and family, he decided it was time for them to tie the knot and he proposed to Ana.

The engagement session took place at Pilcher Park Nature Center in Joliet IL, a location chosen specifically by Ana. We were excited because although we have been in Birdheaven Greenhouse multiple times, we have never had a photo session at Pilcher Park, so it was nice to photograph in this location for the first time.

The colors of their outfits were navy, black and white, and the background was the beautiful orange color of the log house and green all around us. I think they choose the colors really well. Their chemistry made this photo session really fun and adorable. Five minutes after we starting taking photographs with them, it was obvious that these two are an amazing couple. We learned that Ana and Vero have something in common, we both are scare of water so driving over bridges or flying is a big no, no for us. Thank God we have brave men next to us that save us for all those dangerous situations, they are always the designated drivers LOL.
