Beronica and Marco’s Jennifer’s Garden Banquet and Convention Center wedding in Morris, Illinois was full of emotion and sweet moments! The two were engaged in March of last year, and we had the pleasure of meeting with them in January where we learned Marco was in training to be a commercial air pilot.
Beronica dressed at Jennifer’s Garden, and her dark hair was swept back with a spray of pearls on one side. Her bridesmaids wore a beautiful shade of navy blue and Beronica’s lace gown was absolutely breathtaking with its low back and flared hemline. Her romantic ivory and blush bouquet was enveloped with wispy eucalyptus and was the perfect complement to her wedding colors.
As Beronica dressed, her siblings gave her some gifts and helped her with her jewlerly, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. It was evident she was extremely close with her sweet family.
Marco was dressed in a light gray suit with a white tie, and matching blush and ivory boutonniere. His groomsmen mirrored the girls in matching blue ties. Beronica and Marco did not want a first look, so when it came time for the ceremony, Beronica was overcome with emotion as her parents walked her down the aisle to her groom who was beaming with happiness. Their ceremony overlooked a beautiful pond with a fountain, and was a stunning setting for them to exchange their vows. As they did so, their families were overcome with emotion and we made sure to capture those special moments. Beronica and Marco opted to perform a tree planting ceremony—and each combined soil from their homes to plant a tree that would grow at their new home. It was a beautiful symbol of these two families coming together.
Once we finished portraits, everyone was ready to party at the reception! The speeches at the reception were full of emotion…the groom’s brother gave a heartfelt speech and that was followed by the maid of honor, Adriana, who only managed to get a few words out before the tears overcame her, which in turn had everyone crying!
One thing that struck me during the reception was that Marco and Beronica really enjoyed their reception…they did the “Vibora de la mar” dance where the bride and groom were standing on top of their chairs and the guests wove between them and underneath Beronica’s veil. Colorful balloons were brought out and guests waved them in the air as they danced. The entertainment was amazing—Beronica was related to a few of the musicans in the Alacranes Musical and the reception changed to feeling like a concert. Guests had their phones in the air dancing, singing and going live on Facebook. It truly was a celebration and party for these two!
Beronica and Marco, it was such a pleasure for us to capture these memories for you! We had so much fun and were touched by the strong relationships within your families. We wish you a beautiful, blessed life together as you begin this exciting new journey called marriage! Congratulations!
